TRIGUN MAXIMUM VOLUME 1 chapter 1
a shot of vash, looking particularly full of badassery, standing in front of the fifth moon and a hill of crosses.
more badass vash with new, improved hairstyle!
a corpse is tossed into a public trough
men on horses approach
a man peeks out his door
the men approach slowly
the corpse WAS the sheriff...
bus doors swing open.
wolfwood is standing there
people outside the bus want on
they'll pay anything.
the bus driver refuses to take them
the people beg outside the bus for a ticket
wolfwood crosses the street and enters a bar
three dudes point guns at him
wolfwood holds his hands up defensively
the dudes put away their guns
the bus drives away, people running after it
the bartender talks to wolfwood
the bus keeps driving
suddenly, some type of missile punctures the hull of the bus
and...it explodes
wolfwood is shocked
the bartender explains that everyone in this town is prisoner of a gang that is headed by vash the stampede
wolfwood asks if the gunman is really vash
other people wonder the same thing

back at the bar, wolfwood is still talking to the bartender
wolfwood introduces himself as a priest
the bartender says they need a priest...
theirs was killed the other day... (GULP!)
the bar doors suddenly swing open to reveal a big blond dude with a little kid, guns pointed at them...
wolfwood takes note
the kid, who's being held by the neck, reacts to the guns pointed at her head
she gets out of the ericks' hold and walks to the bar. she orders a drink
the bartender asks if something is wrong, lina tells him to make it quick.
ericks tries to justify whatever happened as teasing while lina's breathing fire.
she apparently beat someone up... (someone other than ericks)
the bartender looks stricken.
lina reiterates that she beat someone up, but that she doesn't think they saw her come in the bar.
two guys are outside the bar.
one of them aims an arm cannon.
he fires
the front wall of the bar EXPLODES!
the shot goes ALL THE WAY THROUGH the bar, barely missing ericks and lina.
ericks and lina look on with dismay
wolfwood curses.
his meal will go uneaten...AGAIN!
the piggy guy with the arm cannon expells a spent shell from his arm.
there is a gang with a tank behind him. he's dragging a guy by the neck, and he has a footprint on his face.
wolfwood is impressed with the footprint.
a bar patron reacts to something outside and wolfwood takes note
on top of the tank outside stands a man...in a jacket...
VASH THE STAMPEDE with cheezy wrap-around glasses!
the guy that piggy has by the neck is being strangled. piggy starts to count for lina to come out.
the patrons look at ericks and lina
piggy keeps counting.
ericks goes out alone.
lina shouts for him to wait in the background
piggy fires at ericks, but ericks holds his ground
piggy wants lina, but ericks refuses to send her out
ericks kowtows to piggy to show how sincere he is.
lina looks on, horrified
"vash" sees that ericks is sincere. piggy reacts.
"vash" tells ericks to strip and pretend he's a dog
lina looks very emotional
the whole bar is watching
the bartender is watching
piggy looks happy
wolfwood's expression is unreadable
ericks looks at "vash." he asks "vash" if he will let them go.
the bar customers look on
lina shouts for ericks to stop, but he just smiles and tells lina not to look
ericks starts taking his clothes off
piggy is shocked
a bar patron is shocked
ericks...IS COVERED IN SCARS!
wolfwood looks...wolfwoody
ericks starts barking...
and panting...
and scratches behind his ear with his foot...
"vash" gives the order to move out
ericks just stands there with a strategically placed dust cloud
he looks at lina and smiles
but "vash" turns around and shoots ericks! (the BASTARD!)
ericks is knocked over by the blast.
ericks falls over
lina rushes out to him
but a baddie on a bike comes towards her, picks her up, and drives off
a gurney is rushed in
a doctor looks over ericks
two guys in the hall ridicule vash for not having enough pride
wolfwood pins one of them to the wall with the cross punisher
he tells these jerks that they owe their lives to ericks for what he did
wolfwood walks away suddenly, the dudes react.
wolfwood walks into the emergency room. (presumably, they let him in because he LOOKS like a priest)
some dudes are talking about lina
the doctor's hands are bloody
but he looks surprised
as he pulls a bullet out
the doctor drops the bullet onto a bloody pan next to ericks' head
something is pushing them out
sheryl bursts in
they tell her lina's been kidnapped
the doctor is covered in blood
sheryl stops at ericks and looks worried
the doctor tells her he's fine
sheryl is mad.
she goes to get the shotgun on the wall
they tell her she's too old to go after the gang. wolfwood listens.
wolfwood walks up to the gurney. the doctor reacts.
wolfwood tells the doctor to be quiet
everyone leaves the room except for wolfwood, the dr, and the nurse
wolfwood thinks a moment before smacking ericks very hard across the face.
the doctor gets a hold of wolfwood's face
the nurse is shocked as ericks wakes up...with sparkles no less...
the doctor is shocked, but wolfwood looks pleased.
ericks asks the doctor to leave.
wolfwood sits on the side of ericks' bed...
ericks...is...VASH!?!??! (i'm just playing. we all knew that...)
wolfwood asks vash what he's been doing for 2 years, recounts the story of the fifth moon
vash asks him to stop.
vash thinks about the fifth moon...thinks about how he could have destroyed the whole planet.
wolfwood asks if he hid because he was afraid
basically, vash says yes.
vash sits up, a little sore.
wolfwood hands him something...
ZOMG IT'S VASH'S GUN!
vash looks sadly at the gun...
but he picks up the gun anyway...
wolfwood tells vash to suck it up.

the doctor finds a note...ww and vash have gone to get lina back...
external shot of the gang compound with wolfwood and vash walking up by themselves...
dozens of guns are trained on our heroes...
vash looks a little sullen as wolfwood unsnaps his cross punisher
the strap and material fly away.
wolfwood aims his punisher as vash freaks.
he reminds wolfwood not to kill anyone.
wolfwood's like...what? vash is like...NO KILLING!
they stand there arguing while the gang gets the order to fire
vash and wolfwood move in!
now all that is left is the ruins of a building and the burning remains of what WAS a tank of some sort. injured bodies are everywhere...
wolfwood strikes a match
and has a smoke
people are in pain around them, but they're not dead...

there's someone on top of the water tower...
it's FAKE!VASH AND LINA!
fake vash looks desperate.
real!Vash is tired. asks fake!Vash to give up.
fake!Vash won't give up. fake!Vash orders real!Vash to say his name...
vash - vash the stampede..
wolfwood starts cracking up.
fake!Vash orders real!Vash to drop his gun.
real!Vash does this.
fake!Vash aims his gun at real!Vash...
BUT REAL!VASH IS FASTER! the faker gets shot up pretty good, and of course, lina never ever gets hit.
lina runs over to vash and hugs him.
lina holds onto vash as vash considers where to take all these wounded people... wolfwood is exasperated.
chapter 2
an external shot of the ruined gang compound
two guys are surveying the damage
one baddie in a hat is hiding, watching them
lina is lying on her bed
there are birds chirping outside
lina thinks back to the first time she saw vash
he was covered in rags, completely looking pathetic
vash looks at her, his eyes dull, and she looks scared/nervous
back to present - lina has rolled over on her bed (lots of action here.)
wolfwood and vash are eating spaghetti
now wolfwood and vash are FIGHTING over spaghetti
wolfwood and vash engage in mortal combat over a cocktail weenie
grandma shouts at them
grandma turns on the radio
vash and wolfwood calm down
wolfwood tells vash about carcasas
carcasas montage
a shot of a monument with KNIVES written on it
vash reacts
sheryl looks resigned
a shot of EVIL EVIL KNIVES! with SPIKES!™
wolfwood says this isn't something they can ignore!
vash asks how wolfwood knows about knives
wolfwood is vague (figures)
wolfwood tells vash they're leaving in 3 days
wolfwood exits
vash and sheryl just stare at the door

the bar patrons are bitching about vash and wolfwood, but become silent when they see lina
the bartender greets her
lina orders a drink
the patrons whisper
she does not look happy.
external shot of lina's house. vash is on the porch
vash thinks about his brother
vash thinks about the doctor and the bartender and grandma and lina
vash tells grandma that he's leaving.
lina overhears this
grandma asks if there is anything that they can do
vash says no and that he can't tell them anything either
grandma is still concerned. in the background, a booted foot is raised high in the air...
and said booted foot crashes down on vash's unsuspecting head
lina is crying. she runs away.
vash is injured.
lina's back in bed, thinking about vash
she saw his scars and she wanted to keep him safe
she understands why he has to leave, but she doesn't want him to go.
wolfwood comments to vash about lina
something is approaching
vash, wolfwood, and grandma keep talking about lina
piggy shows up
and vash realizes it
and he tells lina to get inside
there is a big explosion in the background
lina looks out to see piggy
apparently vash and wolfwood failed to get this guy... (assuming makes an ass out of u and me...)
piggy thinks he's a badass
wolfwood reaches for his cross punisher
another baddie pops up from behind piggy
wolfwood says this guy is vash's
vash stands up, one arm cannon and two machine guns aimed at him. piggy taunts vash
lina and wolfwood watch
vash stands still
piggy assumes it is because vash is scared.
vash stomps his leg (as if it is in an effort to prove he is not too scared to move...)
vash starts walking slowly towards piggy and does not stop
vash continues to walk towards piggy.
piggy aims at vash and threatens to kill him.
vash stops and now it's HIS TURN to taunt piggy
piggy is PISSED!
piggy fires his arm cannon.
the projectile is aimed STRAIGHT FOR VASH!
vash...KICKS THE PROJECTILE OFF COURSE!!!
wolfwood, lina, and piggy look on
as vash flips in mid air...
and CONTINUES to flip behind a shocked wolfwood...
until he lands against the wall and aims...
the cannon ball hits only a small chunk of the roof.
vash fires...
piggy and the other baddie look scareded...
vash's bullet hits piggy's arm cannon, which causes it to swing backwards and clobber the other baddie in the face.
piggy looks at himself...he's...not...dead...
wolfwood tells vash he's dumb. vash tells wolfwood to shut up.
piggy is still stunned to be alive.
vash tells piggy this town is now his responsibility and if anything bad happens, vash is taking it out on HIM!
piggy picks up the other baddie and squeals as he runs away
grandma comes out as vash is checking his boot.
vash smiles.
lina looks on.
she presses her head against her window, resigned.
lina cuts vash's hair
and wolfwood and grandma have a heart-to-heart
and lina continues to cut vash's hair, and wolfwood and grandma continue to have a heart to heart...
FLASHBACK - lina watching vash eat
lina checking out vash's new fake arm
vash and lina doing chores
vash getting clobbered
a birthday party for lina
lina, vash, and grandma standing together, looking happy
PRESENT - scissors...
and...VASH FINALLY LOOKS LIKE VASH...but half of his hair is black now... (and he needs to shave...)
vash looks over as lina pulls the cloth off of vash and wraps it around herself
vash gets a look on his face and pulls lina into a hug.
lina doesn't think she protected vash enough
vash tells her that she was the one who protected him the whole time.
vash and wolfwood leave as lina and grandma look on, sad...

chapter 3
INSURANCE GIRLS!!!!!!1!!!ONE!!!
FLASHBACK - jeonora rock
there's a bright light as debris is blown away
milly and meryl are there
meryl looks up
THE MOON! it has a hole now...

meryl is presented with a cupcake. it's her birthday!
she looks surprised and happy
she's only 21. everyone is impressed she was so young when she found vash.
karen tells her coworkers to leave meryl alone
meryl starts talking about her adventures with vash
they sound like happy memories
everyone looks a little perplexed at this
karen gives meryl a lecture
meryl is going on vacation
the chief calls meryl into his office
the chief either comments on meryl not cutting work on her birthday, OR he's asking her to cut her vacation short. it seems very vague to me.
they go into the office and there is a dude in a suit...
they show a picture to meryl...
it's VASH!!!?!??!!
and she promptly tells them that, a tear in her eye
the boss sends this new dude keele after vash.
keele now has full authority on the case.
meryl tries to give keele her reports, but he knocks them out of her hands and onto the floor.
he tells her her reports are worthless.
he says he's going to close the book on this one...
meryl picks up her reports...
and makes a silly face at keele... (wow...quite anti-authoritarian for meryl, doncha think?)
back in the office, karen talks to meryl.
meryl's kind of sad that she wasn't sent after vash
karen tells meryl that keele is a military elite...
an external shot of a nowhere town.
vash is sitting in the window watching the street below
a buss pulls up
the door opens
a man walks out...
a silhouette of KEELE! (now you KNOW he's bad news...)
and a big panel of keele looking antagonistic...
he walks to a hotel asks the clerk at the front desk
the clerk points towards vash's room
keele walks down a hall
and knocks on vash's door.
a shot of keele at the door through the peep-hole
keele "brings a message from meryl stryfe"
vash pauses a moment, then decides to open the door.
the door nob turns slightly...
and KEELE GOES ALL ANTAGONISTIC!!!
keele steps on a pedal on his suitcase
a gun is propelled out of his case.
he catches the gun!
and POINTS IT AT THE DOOR!
AND SHOOTS!
and spins it around to recock it!
and shoots again!
and kicks the door in!
KEELE BURSTS IN!
but vash catches his gun!
keele's all, huh?!?!
vash smiles cheerfully
keele sees that vash was not actually standing in front of the door...vash had a string tied to the door knob and was tugging on it from somewhere else in the room...
vash asks if keele is really an insurance agent
keele gets all antagonistic again...
the clerk and a patron ask what's going on
someone shouts to stay back! (probably vash)
keele lets go of the shotgun and stomps on the pedal again
to vash's dismay, ANOTHER GUN pops out of keele's case
keele swings the gun around,
but by the time he's firing, vash is falling backwards trying to dodge.
keele is in the doorway.
he hits the suitcase pedal again...
chunks 2 grenades into vash's room and then runs...
which explode, sending our very durable hero flying through the air
vash falls and lands in the car with a pretty lady
and looks up in time to see keele standing from the hotel, aiming his gun at him
vash quickly tucks the girl underneath him
AS KEELE TOTALLY OPENS FIRE!!! ZOMG THIS GUY IS A BASTARD!!
vash is breathing heavily, getting shot a ton
keele is shooting at vash without a care in the world...until...
SOMEONE WITH A GIANT GUN CUSSES!
and it's WOLFWOOD! with his CROSS PUNISHER!
keele retreats as wolfwood brings the kickassery
the girl in the car looks absolutely shocked as vash rolls over, now completely covered in blood and bullets
wolfwood gets vash out of the car
keele is running...to the top of a ROOF! where he has a sniper gun...
but this roof also has a MERYL STRYFE, TOO!
meryl reveals keele's nefarious plan
but keele isn't very impressed. he goes COMPLETELY ANTAGONISTIC when he has 2 automatic guns and a third pistol pointed at meryl's head
keele tells her how stupid she was to have gotten involved.
meryl thinks back to karen's words...
she remembers spent bullet shells, the nebraska family, bdn, eg mine...
she remembers the fifth moon
she remembers vash smiling...
she closes her eyes and she remembers vash smiling, giving the love and peace sign...
there's still a gun to meryl's head and she recognizes what a dilly of a pickle she's now in...
keele criticizes her again, telling her she's out of time...
but...meryl just looks back at him...
the scene from a distance...
the scene from...a further distance...
and...a stun thing is totally headed for keele!
a very trigger-happy milly is across the street! watching the whole thing!!!
meryl ducks just in time as keele flies through the air
he's knocked down and totally skids into a wall
meryl takes a breather...
milly congradulates herself
meryl smiles at her

"they got the gunman from the shootout!"
wolfwood overhears that keele is in the hospital
vash is completely bandaged up, but he yells at wolfwood not to do anything "perverted..."
wolfwood gives him an EVIL GRIN as he walks away
vash shouts at wolfwood, but the nurse hits him on the head and tells him to be still.
wolfwood catches up to a gurney going down the hall
keele is holding his completely torn-up face
he looks at wolfwood...and recognizes him as vash's buddy
the doctor tells wolfwood to leave, but wolfwood instead...
WHIPS OUT A BOTTLE OF TABASCO SAUCE!!!
keele screams.
milly asks why they're not going to see vash
meryl says they're going to be assigned to them anyway, and they'll probably meet up with him sooner than they expect anyway...
meryl sounds excited about the future...
but she still wants to take her vacation 
the boss is informed the keele was crippled.
bernardelli's needs a replacement...but meryl's on vacation...
chapter 4
flashback from the great fall
escape pods are crash landing on the surface
vash looks enraged
knives holds his hand out to vash
vash attacks, but knivs dodges
knives hand is still extended...
vash collapses, rem is dead...all those people are dead...
knives is pleased with himself
vash tells knives he's not human
knives kicks vash in the face. DUH! THAT'S THE BLOODY POINT!
vash lies on the ground and doesn't move.
knives stands over him and watches the other ships fall to the ground.
vash doesn't move, wonders what he is supposed to do...
a shot of rem.
REM!!!!!!!!
vash is lying in bed. he probably just woke up.
a hammer nailing a nail
a stack of coffins
the top of a coffin
wolfwood smokes a cigarette and watches
as a coffin maker...makes coffins...lots of them...that are needed right now...
back at the hotel...
vash is doing SUPER MANLY ONE-ARMED handstands/PUSHUPS! (what a man.)
vash collapses and coughs (because it's hard being so manly)
vash wipes his mouth as he picks up his gun...and blindfolds himself...
and picks up a wine glass...
and starts training again.
vash is so cool, when he balances the wine glass on the tip of his gun and suddenly tosses it up, he can spin completely around and catch it on the tip of his gun BEFORE IT FALLS OFF! and IT DOESN'T BREAK! how friggin SWEEEEEEEEET is that?!?! (this is NOT a rhetorical question. i expect an answer.)
vash catches the glass as he takes his blindfold off.
wolfwood comes in and tells him it stinks in here.
wolfwood opens a window.
a brief introduction to the polos and the fris...
a functioning plant was recovered.

vash is crying.
wolfwood wants to leave
vash is meeting someone in this town.

a man walks into a door in an alley
there are men talking over plans...one looks nervous
there's some kind of covered-up vehicle

a sandsteamer is making its way through the desert
a nefarious looking dude is drinking alcohol.
he looks over and sees a suitcase next to a sleeping old man
the nefarious dude reaches for the suitcase, but he's totally kicked by brad.
brad's all, "STEP OFF, BITCH"
sensei is all, "be nice, brad."
sensei treats the nefarious dude's wounds
brad pouts.
brad and sensei are on their way to find vash...
being tackled to death by some kid...
brad is not impressed.
vash tries to get rid of the kids...
who then totally clobber him en masse
wolfwood goes to vash's room, in theory to apologize for eariler, but vash is already gone.

sensei has brought vash...REPLACEMENT PARTS!!
vash is very impressed.
brad confronts vash...
and brad is not very nice...
and meanie brad even says vash isn't human... (so sad...)
sensei sticks up for vash.
sensei asks if vash remembers the fifth moon incident...
vash doesn't remember very clearly, but he knows that he is the one who did it.
brad gets pissed and grabs vash by the collar.
and brad shouts at vash... (SO MEAN!!!)
and vash...JUST TAKES IT!!! (SO FRIGGIN SAD!)
sensei finally gets it through brad's big fat stupid skull that the man he's shouting at is the only person who's ever stood up to knives and survived.
vash asks brad to trust him.
brad looks at vash...looks at the hand holding vash...
and remembers how small he was the last time he saw vash.
brad violently releases vash and storms out.
vash feels like crap
but sensei reveals that the girl brad is sweet on is in love with vash (he he...)
sensei gets a gnarly syringe thing out and asks vash if he's ready to "start the surgery..." SCARY!
an explosion across town shocks vash and sensei
sensei's tray of tools gets knocked over
there's screaming
people in the street are freaking out
vash looks out the window
a bell rings
the army comes out
a big tank-like vehicle has run into the sand steamer
brad is watching
wolfwood emerges from BELOW the crowd with a bowl of udon and proceeds to eat said udon even as he's getting clobbered by a woman.
the army has the sandsteamer surrounded.
someone opens the hatch on the top of the sandsteamer and starts firing into the air.
the crowd freaks.
wolfwood see's vash in the crowd
as people try to get past them, they start arguing
wolfwood tries to talk vash out of getting involved in this situation
vash isn't seeing it his way, though
and as the crowd clears, wolfwood sees VASH THE STAMPEDE! in all his glory...which he apparently says...
and suddenly everyone in the crowd has their undivided attention.
people are mad at vash and wolfwood for kidding around, but vash suddenly goes TOTALLY STAMPEDE ON EVERYONE! to get them out of the area.
vash continues on with the stampede thing. everyone freaks.
vash is chasing people around like an idiot.
brad is not impressed.
chapter 5
FLASHBACK - a red flower
rem's favorite flower
vash wants to know if he can eat it
rem looks a little overwhelmed as she tells vash geraniums stand for DETERMINATION.
PRESENT - vash's gun is going off
he is still being "VASH THE STAMPEDE!!!"
a general type gives the order to hold fire
the army dudes watch as vash shows that he is out of bullets
and walks backwards with his hands in the air
internal shot of the sandsteamer, there are guys with guns
one guy wants to shoot vash, but the leader tells him to hold his fire
there are 3 hostages in the corner.
the leader calls out one guy, tells him to calm down.
two baddies talk amongst themselves
a shot of the leader of the baddies...cuts to...
a shot of a mysterious dude who likes to play...with...balls... (0_o i wonder if they are connected...)
the mysterious dude is in the town, sitting at a table in an empty restaurant
vash is singing the total slaughter song
wolfwood is dismayed.
wolfwood screams at vash, but the crowd holds him back, thinking vash is evile...
the guys in the sandsteamer are creeped out by the song
vash has in his hands...SOME TYPE OF EXPLOSIVE!
he tosses it up in the air...
and AIMS HIS GUN!!!
and the explosive...EXPLODES!
the crowd is startled
there is a bright light
and the next time the hijackers look out the window...
VASH IS GONE!
the leader tells the rest of the baddies to man their stations...
they hear noise from the roof...
someone peeks out of the hatch on the roof to find...
CRAZY VASH RUNNING STRAIGHT FOR HIM!!!
the guy gets his gun and aims,
but CRAZY VASH KEEPS RUNNING!!!
and SLIDES past the baddie, disarming him AND knocking him upside the head purty good.
vash JUMPS INTO the hatch, landing on the dude...
and TOTALLY STARTS SHOOTING PEOPLE (of course, in a non-lethal capacity)
the baddies are freaking out, but the leader tells them to stay calm. they're in a part of the steamer with no exit.
the baddies look doubtful as vash is a-comin'
MEANWHILE, vash is CHARGING DOWN STAIRS and LANDING IN AWKWARD POSITIONS!
and BADDIES ARE TOTALLY DROPPING THEIR WEAPONS! (go vash!)
now...i think vash follows these dudes as they retreat...
to the FIRST CLASS CABINS
he slows down at a door, takes a moment, then BURSTS IN!!
but he realizes the situation ONLY TOO LATE!
EVERYONE OPENS FIRE ON VASH!
he seems to be shot OUT OF THE ROOM.
vash falls backwards into the hall.
spent bullets are falling out of him.
he's bleeding from internal injuries
BUT HE'S OKAY! ....-ish...
but there's only one entrance to this room...
and ALL THE BADDIES HAVE THEIR GUNS TRAINED ON IT!!
vash formulates a plan...
USING HIS EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF MANLY EXERCISE TECHNIQUES!!
from outside the room, vash offers a draw.
of course, the leader's like, "PISH POSH."
vash pops his gun into the entrance of the door, and
TOTALLY OPENS FIRE!
hitting...NOTHING!
except a hinge...a big hinge
and...SUDDENLY! all the baddies are CLOBBERED by LUGGAGE
vash tells the baddies to stay down...
but there's ONE DUDE...who is still standing...
and he TOTALLY SLAMS A HOSTAGE DOWN!
and vash is like, STOP!
and the dude is like, NO!
and the dude puts his gun to the hostages's head
and vash is like, STOP!
and much arguing commences
and then gut-wrenching truth hits the fan...
chapter 6
horrible flashback - a girl is dead
a funeral
the girl's mother is completely inconsolable
wolfwood understands
a wide shot from above of the scene in the steamer
vash looks on as he tries to digest the gravity of the situation.
outside the steamer, the feds have the steamer surrounded
they're preparing to storm in.
from the crowd, doc and brad watch the events as they unfold.
doc gives brad what for...
and wolfwood is also watching, waiting for the outcome
vash has his finger on the trigger...
he thinks of rem...
he begins to lower his gun...
he thinks of knives...
he lowers the gun completely
and as the hostage screams, vash looks completely deflated.
the dude with the gun looks back at vash
he says this won't take long
and the hostage continues to scream
and scream.
and the dude screams back at the hostage
and the hostage pees his pants
and the hostage CONTINUES to scream...
and vash is watching, begging for the guy not to shoot
and the hostage is screaming
and the dude's finger is on the trigger
and the hostage is STILL screaming
and there's a quick shot of vash, brad, doc, and wolfwood...
and at the LAST POSSIBLE MOMENT, vash lunges forward.
vash moves the guy's hand just in time for the gun to go off into the floor
and the dude yeslls at vash
and the dude punches vash
and basically wails on him. Vash won't let go of the gun
and the guy continues to beat up vash
and then the dude with the gun realizes what he's about to do
and he's horrified...
later, the feds are clearing out the scene
everybody is injured
they have vash in handcuffs
he looks like complete hell
everyone is watching him
and the dude who HAD the gun is handcuffed, too...totally crying...
the crowd watches as the feds lead the hostage away
vash looks back at the dude
and he silently thanks the dude for not shooting the hostage
but he still feels bad about what happened...
vash's leg gives out and he stumbles. the feds have to help him up.
brad is hornery.
and sensei's like, you don't get it?
and brad's like, no...
and sensei's like, so every time you laugh at the comics in the new yorker, you're faking it aren't you?
and brad's like, yes... OH THE SHAME!
and sensei's like, well...vash gets the comics.
and sensei and brad leave
and it gets dark
and it gets darker
and it gets darkest...and THERE'S A BIG EXPLOSION!
and the feds are like, WHAT THE HELL!
and there's a big tire...
and WOLFWOOD BUSTS INTO THE JAIL!!!
and GETS VASH!
well, he pulls vash out of the rubble
and wolfwood grabs the dude from earlier
and vash looks kind of surprised
and vash is like, You'RE SO NICE!
and wolfwood is like SAVE IT! someday YOU WILL HAVE TO CHOOSE!
and vash looks sullen
and from far away in the desert, the mysterious dude from the restaurant is looking at the explosion
and the leader of the baddies appraoches him
and the mysterious dude opens a suitcase
and the mysterious dude disassembles the leader and INTO THE SUITCASE he goes...
and through a different puppet, the mysterious dude reports to...
LEGATO!
