TRIGUN VOLUME 2 Chapter 1: See Anime
Chapter 2
Meryl and Milly argue with the sheriff to try to get Vash out of jail.
Vash is in a jail cell having flashbacks.
He's a child
And Rem is there
She explains about the SEEDS mission
They look out over the cold sleep chambers.
Happy memories.
Then, sad memories. The next few pages deal with Rem's decision to change the course of the SEEDS ship, resulting in her death, but the salvation of countless other people
Vash learns that Knives planned the whole thing.
Back to the present. Vash is still in jail.
Milly and Meryl come in, but Milly stops in her tracks, Meryl running into the back of her.
Vash's eyes...are glowing...
But then he snaps out of it and smiles!
Milly is still stunned by what she saw. Meryl is unawares.
At the front desk,
The clerk looks up.
Someone is opening the door
Vash senses this and shouts!
A cloaked man comes in.
Vash shouts for everybody to get down!
Suddenly, the guy opens fire!
He BLASTS through the wall!
Meryl and the sheriff try to take cover
Monev the Gale reveals himself!
Vash struggles with his restraints as he tells Milly and Meryl to get out of there
As Vash picks the lock on his handcuffs, Monev bursts in!
Monev lunges
And grab's Vash's face, pinning Vash's head in between the wall and Monev's arm cannon!
Monev lifts Vash by the face
Meryl tries to intervene,
Much to Vash's dismay.
Monev slams her against the wall, knocking her out
Milly gathers Meryl up as Monev begins to count down from 10
Just then, Vash reveals his MACHINE GUN and shoots Monev in the shoulder several times
Milly watches as Monev releases Vash,
Who then shoots out the chains that are holding him
Vash is pissed
Monev retreats
Milly screams
Monev dives backwards through the front door to get away
Vash walks out of the jailhouse...transformed into
El Diablo!
Chapter 3
The jailhouse is shot to absolute bits
Vash walks right past Milly and Meryl
And collects his gun from the drawer of the front desk
Vash raises his gun to his face
Milly calls out to him again
But Vash leaves to follow Monev
Monev has been shot in the face 3 times and in the shoulder twice, rendering his arm cannon nonfunctional.
The massive gun disengages
And falls to the ground
Sensing something,
Monev leaps away from the jailhouse
Just as Vash exits
Vash runs through the town,
Which is full of people
Vash senses something through the walls of several buildings
Monev FIRES HIS ARM CANNON
And the blast GOES THROUGH SEVERAL BUILDINGS!
Vash braces for impact and stands directly in the line of fire
Vash concentrates and senses through the smoke and distance
He fires his gun twice, but not before the blast takes out his left arm!
Monev suddenly slams backwards!
Right next to the 3 small machine gun bullets in his face guard, now there are two much larger bullets as well
Monev realizes how accurate a shot Vash is, even when he's getting his arm blown off at the same time!
Milly tries to follow Vash, but he yells at her to stay put
She soon realizes that HIS ARM HAS BEEN SEPARATED FROM HIS BODY and is still HANDCUFFED TO HIM!
All around him, Vash sees casualties
Flashback: fighting with Knives
Meanwhile, back in the present, Monev follows Vash's trail of blood to the bank
Monev anticipates Vash's plan.
Vash reloads shakily
Monev retreats to his armory to stock up on ammo
He's got a huge case full of weapons
He picks out a REALLY BIG GUN
And LEAPS, heading in the direction of the bank
Monev lands, shattering the ground below him
He lifts his gun and OPENS FIRE
The bullets shoot right through the vault, just like Monev anticipated...
But then Monev realizes something...
Vash has anticipated Monev's attack as well
Vash is standing BEHIND the OPEN vault door, using the added thickness as cover.
He aims again at Monev, shooting him in the face
Monev's faceguard cracks and flies off
Before Monev can react, Vash LUNGES at Monev
Kneeing him in the left eye
And forcing Monev to the ground
Then, as Vash stands over him, Vash SHOVES his gun up against Monev's left eye socket
Monev begs for his life
Vash remembers Rem...
Vash bites his lip,
Begins to shake as he pulls his gun away,
And begins to cry
He curls in on himself
As Meryl and Milly approach.
Chapter 4
The town is in ruins.
Meryl types out a report.
People cleaning up.
Meryl flashback: Vash as he huddles on top of Monev
Vash walks away
Monev flips him half a coin
Monev sits, looking defeated
Meryl wonders what the coin was about
Milly and Meryl hear something
And look at each other
They look outside their room
People are talking to the sheriff about Vash!
The girls walk down to Vash's room and wait at the door
They hear him in the shower.
Meryl calls out to him
Meryl and Milly are suddenly SHOCKED!
VASH COMES OUT OF THE SHOWER AND IS COVERED IN SCARS AND is missing an ARM! (we already knew that, though)
They freak
Vash screams
They fall over
Vash has a drink
They talk about what's going on
Vash leaves town
Meryl follows
The wreckage of a SEEDS ship
Legato stands out on the edge of a metal beam
Meryl and Milly are trailing Vash
They find him,
But there is also a large cross erected
Vash shouts for them to stay back
Monev has been impaled on the cross, one of his legs has been ripped off
A drop of blood falls onto Vash's cheek
Enter EG Mine!
Conversation...
EG Mine is about to attack!
But Vash is too fast! EVEN ONE-HANDED!
Before EG mine can eve attack, Vash lets go of his bag, takes out his gun, aims at the straps connecting EG's get-up, shoots it off, re-holsters his gun, then catches his bag before it has had much of a chance to move!
EG FREAKS
Vash delivers the finishing blow with his rucksack
Vash looks a great distance and sees Legato
He fires, the bullet just missing Legato's head

Chapter 5: See Anime
Chapter 6
On a bus
Milly contemplates Vash's strange behavior
Vash remembers that as he shouted at Legato, Legato SMILED!
Vash remembers the first time he encountered Legato
Vash FREAKS
Then FREAKS AGAIN as he sees something outside the bus
It's WOLFWOOD!
The bus driver inspects him
Wolfwood gets water, then gets introduced to the cast
Wolfwood recognizes Vash the Stampede IMMEDIATELY
Vash puts a hand over his mouth to shush him
They shake hands...awkwardly...
Back in town, more of the Road Wreck Crew has shown up
The leader looks at the boss's body.
Conversation with the sheriff
The leader orders the gang to find Legato
They search everywhere, but don't find him
Suddenly, Legato appears right behind the leader
Conversation.
The gang draws their guns and aims at Legato
Legato, however, does not seem perturbed.
In fact, he is having a conversation with someone who isn't even present
Legato orders half the gang to be killed
Gang members start dying.
Meanwhile, at a bus stop, Wolfwood is negotiating bus fare
He meets some scraggly kids. He gives them each a coin.
Conversation.
Meanwhile, half the gang is piled up DEAD!
The leader is freaking out.
The Gung Ho Guns have arrived: Grey, Midvalley, Leonov, Rai Dei, Zazie, Hoppard, and Dominique
Chapter 7
Introductions.
Back on the bus, Vash is describing Legato. He is shocked to find that Milly and Meryl didn't even SEE Legato when he was in the MIDDLE OF TOWN!
Vash freaks out, telling them all not to get involved!
They get to Jeonora Rock
The town is oddly quiet...
Wolfwood parts ways with Vash and the girls
Vash is looking around the town, something is not right
He spots a person looking at them, but the person slams the window shut just as Vash sees him
Vash takes off running!
He sees...a kid poking his/her head through the door!
Vash grabs the door and holds it open before the kid can close it
Vash describes legato
The kid slams the door on Vash's finger!
As Vash turns around, he sees the ground stained with blood...
Vash looks all around him
Suddenly, Dominique is right next to him!
Three buttons fall off his coat
Conversation
Suddenly, 5 buttons fall off Dominique's shirt!
More conversation.
Dominique leaps and attacks, and is behind Vash before he can even react!
She fires at him, as he leaps away, hitting his head on the ground
He scrambles and turns, his gun drawn.
Only problem is, SHE'S BEHIND HIM AGAIN!
She fires at his head.
Cut to Wolfwood.
He's making his way up to a church on the top of a tall edifice.
He gets inside...and is ATTACKED!
Cut to Vash.
He's upside down, just having dodged 3 bullets
Conversation.
Dominique warns that she is going to attack again.
Vash tries to watch, but before he can do anything, she has her gun underneath his chin
She fires
Vash jumps back just in time, getting grazed on the chin
Vash concentrates on his finger wound as HARD as he can, in an attempt to block out the mental attack that Dominique is using on him. This works, and Vash fires, shooting Dominique in the face.
Chapter 8
Wolfwood has defeated his attacker
Legato appears
Back to Vash
Dominique is thrown backwards.
She clutches her face
Conversation.
Dominique throws the coin at Vash, then jumps off the building, committing suicide
Vash runs towards her, only too late
He falls to his knees, then passes out.
An aerial shot of him passed out
Meanwhile...someone arrives in town...
He makes his way up to the church on the rock
Legato and Midvalley converse.
Legato refers to the “someone” as “The Doctor”
The Doctor enters the church
He has a tall, leggy assistant
He announces that Knives will awaken TODAY!
The GHGs don't seem too excited at this prospect...
Thd doctor is shown surrounded by technical equipment
They seem to be outside, with all the GHGs on their own rocky outcropping
The doctor questions why Knives is leading Vash here
Wolfwood has a heart-to-heart with himself as he looks down and sees people packing and running down stairs to get away
A whole page spread of a plant angel with a HUGE pregnancy going on...it's almost as if a grown man could fit into there...creepy...
A shot from INSIDE the bulb as electricity begins to travel from one contact point to another (Legato and the Doctor in silhouette)
The GHGs look on
Townspeople look up
The bulb becomes electrified
The doctor and Legato wait with anticipation
VASH SITS UP IN BED!
Scaring the girls to death
Vash takes no notice of them
Back at the lab, the plant angel is about to give birth
And seems to pull off a natural burth... yeouch....
Legato cries a single tear...
KNIVES IS OUT! He also is standing on top of the angel that just gave birth to him...strange...
Vash freaks
Legato is ecstatic
Wolfwood is dismayed
Knives stands up
There seems to be a great light emanating from the bulb
Meryl tries to convince Vash to stay
Vash doesn't listen
Meryl slaps him
Vash explains the situation
Then he leaves to face Knives
The girls watch him make his way towards the lab
Meryl has an emotional moment
Vash makes his way past the crowds of people clamoring to get out of town
Knives looks up
Legato, who is kneeling, looks up
From a good distance, Vash sees his brother and Legato standing on the rock
Unwittingly, Vash has been surrounded by the GHGs
Legato gives the order to KILL VASH!
Knives is much displeased. He touches Legato on the head and the man crumbles
Everyone looks on in horror as Knives voices his displeasure.
Vash shouts and draws his weapon, aiming at Knives
Vash and Knives converse.
We see the situation sketchily from Wolfwood's perspective
More Vash and Knives conversation
Knives makes his way towards Vash, sliding down part of the rock on his feet
The doctor shouts
Vash recognizes the doctor
Suddenly, Knives is RIGHT IN FRONT of Vash
Not only that, but he's PAST Vash's gun, which means Vash isn't aiming at him anymore
Knives reaches out his hand
And covers Vash's face
The armor on Vash's arm expands
And the arm swells, a bark-like texture covering his skin
It engulfs even his gun
Vash's arm changes into...A HUGE CANNON GUN ANGEL THING!
Knives has control of Vash and is forcing Vash to fire his angel arm
The GHGs run for it
The bottom of the gun begins to bow
Vash breaks free a little, pulling his gun out of the cannon
Vash aims down
And SHOOTS HIMSELF AND KNIVES IN THE LEGS SEVERAL TIMES
Vash gains control and points the angel arm straight up
Knives falls away
Vash has a moment...
The gun goes off
Vash and Knives fall
The blast hits the moon
Total chaos
Wolfwood freaks out
There's a crater on Gunsmoke
There's a crater on the moon
People look on in freaked-out awe
Wolfwood contemplates some more
Meryl and Milly search the rubble
